The largest US drug store has been accused of showing little concern for public health and meting out step-motherly treatment to minorities, especially blacks and Hispanics.

Youths belonging to a number of community organizations converged at the gay Mecca of Washington DC --Dupont Cirlce-- to protest the CVS policy of locking up condoms at select neighborhoods.

In the past year, a CVS store at Chinatown was shut down after public complaints of rodent infestation in their neighborhood.

[Residents in Chinatown are complaining about one bad neighbor, a CVS store.

Neighbors provided ABC 7/Newschannel 8 with pictures Tuesday of trash spilling out of dumpsters, rat feces in storage areas and stairwells, and piles of boxes in authorized and unauthorized storage areas at the CVS store on 7th Street, in Northwest.

The President of the Downtown Neighborhood Association, Miles Grove, says the pharmacy is a "very bad representation of the neighborhood," and wants CVS to clean up their store. Grove says, "it's a major embarrassment to to the area."

Yeni Wong recently bought the building where CVS has been leasing for the past 12 years. Wong offered to double the size of the store and install a loading dock but CVS said it would not move out so the renovations could be completed. The two groups are now locked in a legal battle.]

Even now, a CVS store in College Park frequented by students of University of Maryland has mice and cockroach infestation, witnesses said

Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.
